Sitting in the student district of Bastions Park and the Uni-Dufour campus of University of Geneva, the establishment offers a contemporary setting to its student community and office professional clientele.
During the day, you can set foot in Zio Plainpalais at any given time for a quick bite, and you will find a vast choice of salads, wraps, focaccia and lasagna on the menu. Whether it’s to eat in or an order for take out, you will always be greeted with a warm smile by the restaurant staff. While you’re there, it’s highly recommended that you ask for what is recently made with fresh produce of the day on their menu.
For offices without a cafeteria, Zio does catering as well as "Pop-Up Cafet’ " delivery, for companies looking to offer a meal delivery service to their staff.
Aside from meal menus, Zio also has an in-house bakery, "Prestige Gourmand”. Again, you will be able to choose, from vast rainbow choices of mouth-watering sweets – from miniature apple tarts to the delicious éclair au chocolat. The bakery’s creations are both unconventional and exclusively seasonal.
You’ll also find a well elaborated list of salads, lactose and gluten-free muffins and quiches on the menu. These options are perfect for anyone who follows a vegan, lactose or gluten free diet regime, and will provide great energy for you to carry on with the rest of the day.
If you decide to stay for a meal, Zio has a few tables at your disposal in the back of the restaurant. Under a relaxed ambiance, you can sit and enjoy an intimate moment between friends or colleagues around one of the restaurant’s small tables. While the calming ambiance is not always possible during peak hours, you’ll have a good time nonetheless.
You’ll find a few tables outside during summer, right on the outer extremity of the Bastions Park, where the guests can enjoy a cup of coffee, have a bite and read newspapers in total tranquility.

Vous trouverez également un certain nombre des salades, muffins et quiches en adéquation avec votre régime alimentaire vegan, sans lactose et sans gluten afin de prendre des forces pour le reste de votre journée.
Si vous souhaitez rester manger, quelques tables sont à votre disposition au fond du restaurant dans une ambiance décontracté où vous pourrez refaire le monde entre amis ou collègue installé à de petites tables prévu à cet effet. Le calme n’est pas de rigueur à l’heure de pointe dans ce lieu mais l’ambiance y est néanmoins sympathique.
L’été, quelques tables sont installées à l’extérieur côté parc pour permettre à la clientèle de tranquillement prendre son café, manger et lire son journal.
